Bonus Recipe: The Christmas Cosmo
 

Herewith, for your drinking pleasure, is the recipe for the Christmas Cosmopolitan -- a suavely Pagan confection the Cocktail Muse herself discovered when a quest for more color led her to toss mint into a Cosmo! 

Christmas Cosmo

3 ounces vodka

1 ounce Triple Sec

1 ounce Simple Syrup

juice of 1/2 lime

splash cranberry juice

1 mint leaf (as a garnish)

Shake with ice, strain into a chilled glass.  Garnish with the mint leaf and a lime twist and, for good measure, a cherry.  What could be more festive?
